Ian has more than 40 years’ experience in the property and facilities management arena advising both public and private sector clients on a variety of projects in the UK, Caribbean and worldwide. His experience working for organisations including Carillion, Haden, Amey and John Laing covers the education, healthcare, law enforcement, residential, corporate headquarters and public sector buildings.

A chartered surveyor by background, Ian has worked on large construction and infrastructure projects before transferring to operations, working on maintenance and facilities management contracts, and eventually becoming involved in public private partnership (PPP) contracts. With an in-depth understanding of how buildings are designed, Ian appreciates how they should optimally operate. He has a comprehensive knowledge of maintenance, facilities management, estate management and construction contracts. His core skills lie in developing systems and processes to enable contracts to operate effectively.

Ian is a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, the Institute of Workplace and Facilities Management and the Institute of Directors.

He is the founding director of ACE, clients' projects and is responsible for the overall strategic direction of the firm as well as the commercial viability of client’s projects.

Jana’s original background is in education. She qualified as a teacher but had a career change to accountancy in 2002. Jana trained with a London-based public practice firm specialising in providing a comprehensive suite of accountancy and business advisory services to entertainment and show business industry clientele.

She became a fully qualified member of the UK’s Association of Chartered Certified Accountants in 2007, joining a larger firm based just outside of London as a Statutory Accounts and Audit Manager, undertaking a wide range of practice management duties supporting the partners. The firm’s clients were predominately in the commercial sector, business consultancy services, and high-end property development.

Following her relocation from the UK to Barbados in 2014, she joined ACE Project Solutions, taking charge of the statutory financial accounting, management reporting and corporate compliance across Ace’s international group structure of associated companies. She also supports the company’s projects with financial modelling and analysis.

Ken is an operations and transformation director with more than 40 years’ experience in construction surveying, commercial management and programme management across the UK, Europe and the Middle East.

He has successfully delivered complex housing, retail, leisure and education construction projects for the public and private sector working for organisations including Serco and Carillion. With almost three decades of change and programme management experience within facilities and estates maintenance for the health, education, defence, aviation, justice and transport sectors, Ken has a comprehensive understanding of asset and technical compliance for complex organisations. He applies a customer-centred operational delivery methodology, based on a fact measurement approach to deliver the required business performance, balancing strong account management and organisational leadership.

Ken joined ACE in 2018 and is responsible for the operational delivery of contracts and for maintaining the functional business infrastructure, capability and systems to ensure compliance.

Andy Hamer is a highly experienced international sales and marketing professional with a career spanning over four decades. Throughout his career, he has worked for global organizations such as Marconi, Equant, Toshiba, Informa, Strategic Analytics, Wongs Electronics, and Global Silicon. His diverse experience spans the technology and services sectors.
Andy's expertise lies in constructing businesses that are centered around disruptive technologies and services. He possesses a deep understanding of industry dynamics, enabling him to leverage emerging trends and capitalize on opportunities. Recently, he has been actively involved in the construction technology sector, collaborating with companies like CodeBook, Xinaps, Invicara, Bentley Systems, XYZ Reality, and Archdesk.
Andy is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (FCIM). He has also obtained a BA (Hons) degree in Marketing Engineering from the University of Huddersfield and is recognized as an RICS Certified BIM Project Information Manager.
